Welcome to Gulf Dent, a practice app for general dentists preparing for the Gulf dental licensing examinations. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Nature of the content and responsibility

All questions in Gulf Dent are original and were written by our content team, following the published scope of the Gulf dental licensing examinations. They are not past exam questions and not recalls of exam questions, and any similarity to a question that appeared in an exam is coincidental. Explanations refer to standard dental textbooks and international guidelines, but we do not guarantee that the material, answers or explanations are correct, complete or up to date; the answers are a reasoned professional judgement, not an official answer key. The clinical content is for exam practice only and is not treatment advice or a substitute for clinical judgement. Gulf Dent is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of SCFHS, DHA, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOHAP, DHP Qatar, NHRA, OMSB, Prometric, Pearson VUE or any other examining or licensing body, and it does not replace their official material. Use of the app is at your own responsibility.

Not dental or clinical advice

The content is study material for a written examination only. It is not medical advice, a treatment recommendation or a prescribing guide, and it must not be relied on when treating a real patient. Doses, interactions and protocols change - verify every clinical decision against current product information, local regulations and authoritative clinical sources.

Personal use

Your licence to use the app is personal and non-transferable. The content is for your own personal study only. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, photograph, record, export, sell or pass on any part of the app content to a third party, or use it commercially, without prior written permission. A breach of this section may lead to cancellation of your subscription, in addition to any other remedy available by law. Explanations may display a watermark with your name for attribution only; it is created on your device and is not sent anywhere.

Intellectual property

The questions, explanations, distractor rationales, flashcards, and the selection, editing, organisation and arrangement of the content, as well as the design and interface, were all written originally for the app. They are the intellectual property of the app developer and are protected by copyright. The app does not use the wording of any licensing-exam question and makes no claim of ownership over such material.

Purchases and subscriptions

The app offers two auto-renewing subscriptions: a monthly plan and a 3-month plan. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers are not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the app, including reliance on its content, answers or explanations. Exam results depend on many factors and are not guaranteed.

Found a mistake in a question or an explanation? We would be glad to hear about it and fix it: gulfdent@hamachshevon.co.il. Every report is reviewed, but we cannot commit to a correction date.
